It was seven years ago today,
no farewell words were spoken,

and only God knows why.
You can shed tears that I am gone,

You can close your eyes and pray that I'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all that I have left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see me,
or you can be full of the love we shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live for yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of our yesterdays.
You can remember only that I am is gone,
or you can cherish my memory and let it live on.

I see the countless Christmas trees
Around the world below,
With tiny lights like heaven's stars
Reflecting in the snow.

The sight is so spectacular

 please wipe away that tear
for I am spending CHRISTMAS

 WITH JESUS CHRIST this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs

 that people hold so dear
but the sound of music can't compare

with the CHRISTMAS CHOIR up here.

I have no words to tell you

of the JOY their voices bring
for it is beyond description

 to HEAR THE ANGELS SING.

I know how much you miss me,

I see the pain inside your heart
for I am spending CHRISTMAS

WITH JESUS CHRIST this year.

I can't tell you of the SPLENDOR

or the PEACE here in this place
Can you just imagine CHRISTMAS

 WITH OUR SAVIOR face to face?

I'll ask him to lift your spirit

as I tell him of your love
so then PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER

 as you lift your eyes above.

Please let your hearts be joyful

 and let your spirit sing
for I am spending CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN

and I’m walking WITH THE KING.

We really aren’t apart. So be happy for me dear ones.

You know I hold you dear, and be glad I’m spending Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.

I send you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above.

I send you each a memory of, my undying love.

After all “Love” is the gift, more precious than pure gold.

It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do, for I can’t count the blessing or love he has for each of you.

So, have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear.

Remember, I’m spending Christmas, with Jesus Christ this year.

 

An Angels Christmas wish

I looked through the clouds and what did I see,
The face of my mother, and her thoughts were of me.
He eyes filled with tears and her face looked so sad,
My wings fluttered softly and I felt so bad;
For I could do nothing to change how she felt,
Nor could I alter the hand fate had dealt.
My tears fell like raindrops, my heart felt so tight,
I lifted my face to heaven and told God of my plight,
For I can never be free just to fly,
As long as there's one lonely tear in your eye.
My time on earth was spent to please you,
And though what has happened was not my own choice,
The plan, my mother dear, came from a much higher voice.
As the birthday of our Savior and Lord draws so near,
I have a small plea I would like you to hear,
Remember me, Mom, with happiness and smiles,
And know when you do my soul will soar miles.
My wings will be light, and my heart will be free,
In the brightest sunshine is where you'.. see me

 

Truly I am broken
Not only in my heart
I feel sad and lonely
As if I'm torn apart

Unable to be mended
As if time has stood still

While I'm spiraling downhill

I struggle every moment

This life that I've been handed...

There aren't really specific memories that would stick out more than the last one I have of you. I just specifically remember your beauty and grace about everything. I miss you more every time I think about you. The time flies by but I never forget and I even named my daughter after you because even after all the years you have been gone, noone has been as influential on my life nor as supportive as you always were. I know you're in such a wonderful place now but I still find myself being stingy and wishing we had you back if only for a moment it would be worth it! Noone could ever take that place in my heart that you still hold to this day and I doubt I will ever understand why it was you to leave so early. I guess God wanted the most beautiful angel to be in his presence. I love you and I miss you, you will never be forgotten! Watch over our families. Until I see you again, I LOVE YOU!

Everyday i spent with my sister was a blessing to me! To this day i still dont regret having her in my life. All this pain i feel now was worth even a single second with her alive. There really isnt just one memory to name that ment so much because they all ment the world to me. I think of her every day and i feel the sharp pain from the whole in my heart from losing her. Although last night i truely believe she came to me in a dream. Lately i have been feeling the pain of lose from her a little more then usual and i've even found myself talking to her. When she came in my dream i couldnt stop holding on to her and stareing at her face in wonder and awe wanting to keep her here so badly but knowing she had to leave. I know many feel the pain from losing her i even know that my mother who adored her so much still holds the pain inside.  the one thing that hurts is thinking back about the times we talked about being each other's maid of honor. The knowning that i cant have that now really hurts me but i know in some way she will be there for me! the memories of her will always be in my heart and in my mind and on the day of my Wedding she will be remembered and i know she will be there holding my hand through it all as she was always ment to do!!!

Today i wake up feeling the sharp pain of your loss its been 6 years today and it feels like just 6 mins . I now have a beautiful baby girl named Serenity Alicia Ann. when i look at her sometimes i feel the pain of wishing you were here to see her and to know her. At times i look at her and see a little bit of you shinning in her eyes. My whole life i thought you would be there i never thought i would lose you. I still remember fighting over the front seat, finding new ways to scare mom, and planting flowers with mom in the back yard. So many things i remember and so many things i want my daughter to know about you. The one thing i will make sure she knows is how much you would have loved and adored her and how i know you are watching over her every day.  Somedays mom shows her your pictures and she smiles as if she already knew you. I hope you know that i love you more then i ever got to tell you!  love always, your sister misty

I find an old photograph
and see your smile.

delicately reaching over the mountains
or the final few rays of the setting sun
lighting up the skies
edging the clouds with a magical glow.

I miss your being
but I feel your presence,
In whatever form you choose to take,

Your spirit has become for me
a guardian angel on high
guiding, advising, and watching over me.

I remember you.

I wish I had taken the time to tell you just how special you were. I regret not getting to know the young lady you had become. All my memories are of that shy little girl with the beautiful hair. Who loved fishing and catching bugs and tadpoles. I use to stare at you thinking just how beautiful you were. I saw so much of your Mommy in you. On the day you were born, I waited for Grandpa Arnold to call and tell me you had arrived. I teased your Mom about how you should have waited one more day and you could have been a "Cinco de Mayo" baby. I loved you so much but thought I had all the time in the world to let you know that. Someday sweetie, I will hug you again. For now I can only imagine all these earthly things we will miss. You walking down the aisle, holding your babies. Happy 25th Birthday sweet "Mandy".

When the wind blows I can hear your laugh. When the sun shines I see your smile. When the stars twinkle I know you are waving from heaven. You are always around and that im grateful for i miss you love you amanda

The hardest thing i've ever had to do was read this to you on the day of your funeral!
