Hello, My name is Berislav Jovic   (Bosna and Hercegovina)  and I came across your daughter's Site and I'm so sorry for your loss. Such a beautiful young woman. I myself have lost beautiful son in a car accident ( roll over ) at the age 24, and it's he hardest thing that any parent can bare. I wanted to tell you that Iam so sorry for your loss. There are not enough words to express my sympathy. They say that time heals a broken heart, but we know that isn't true, because it hurts as much today, as the day that we lost theirs.

Language isn´t barrier for ours hearts. My through and prayers are with precious Amanda and your respectable family. May She Rest In Peace .

 

hen somebody passes, a cloud turns into
   an angel, and flies up to tell God
   to put another flower on a pillow.

  A bird gives the message back to
   the world, and sings a silent prayer
   that makes the rain cry. People dis-
   appear, but they never really go away.

The spirits up there put the sun to
   bed, wake up grass, and spin the
   earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you
   can see them dancing in a cloud during
   the day-time, when they're supposed
   to be sleeping

They paint the rain-
   bows and also the sunsets and make
   waves splash and tug at the tide.
   They toss shooting stars and listen to
   wishes.

And when they sing wind-
   songs, they whisper to us, don't
   miss me too much. The view is nice
   and I'm doing just fine.

Bettie,  Your daughter, Amanda is absolutely beautiful !  I can tell by her eyes that her soul is a beautiful as the body she was given to carry it.  The slideshow is fabulous.  Thank you for taking what I can imagine was many hours to create this so that we can get to share Amanda's life with you.  Im so sorry that we have to walk this earth with a huge hole in our hearts.  I wish you peace and love.

Christmas Without You

              The lights are blinking merrily
              The tinsel’s on the tree
              It sits there in the window
              For all the world to see.

              The house is filled with holly
              And pinecone scents the air
              The Christmas cards keep coming
              Each one is hung with care.

              The gifts are tied with ribbons red
              And topped with pretty bows
              I’m done with all the details
              As far as Christmas goes.

              The fire is softly glowing
              I think about your touch
              But Christmas isn’t Christmas
              I miss you oh, so much.

              If I could have just anything
              My Christmas wish would be
              To wake up in the morning
              And find you here with me.  

              I reminisce our Christmas’ past
              The joy and love we shared
              Moonlit walks and midnight talks

but the SOUND OF MUSIC can't compare with the CHRISTMAS CHOIR up here.

I have no words to tell you of the JOY their voices bring
for it is beyond description to HEAR THE ANGELS SING.

for I am spending CHRISTMAS WITH JESUS CHRIST this year.

I can't tell you of the SPLENDOR or the PEACE here in this place
Can you just imagine CHRISTMAS WITH OUR SAVIOR face to face

As I sit here reading all these condolences... I find myself wondering what you were like.  What did your laugh sound like?  The sound of your voice? What thoughts went through your mind... thoughts that you didn't share with others, that no one else heard or even knew you were thinking?  They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul so I looked at the pictures of you and tried to peer into your eyes... and all I saw was a beautiful light and felt an overwhelming sense of calmness.  Why I feel that way I'm not sure... we never met... but yet I feel I know you.  That is a hard thing for me to understand.  I knew OF you... I knew your name was Alicia... I had heard you were a beautiful girl... that you were shy and fun to be around... but I never got the opportunity to get to know you personally.  I met our sister Misty today and as she shared stories of you with me, my mind raced with so many thoughts and as she showed me the pictures from this site... I was awestruck.  I thought, "wow... here sits a sister I have never met until today showing me pictures and telling me stories about a sister I didn't get to meet in this life" but when the day comes that I depart this world... I hope you are one of the first persons I get to meet... then we can go sit on a cloud and get to know each other better.  So until then....

The the other day God called you home
to live with Him above.

I can only imagine what Heaven's like
but I’m sure you stood in awe.
I can picture you in Jesus arms
just taking in it all.
I know you longed to be with Him
to see His gentle face.
To look into His loving eyes
and feel His sweet embrace.
I’m sure you fell upon your knees and worshipped at his feet. Then joined the choir singing songs and melodies so sweet. You lived your life down here on earth by serving God above. And now you’ll spend eternity singing Him songs of love.
Oh how you loved Him all your days,
you gave Him your whole life.
Your love for Jesus shone so bright
even in times of strife.
You shared His love by how you lived
you gave him everything.
And I can hear Him say, “Well done”,
for living for the King.

Thank you for your faithfulness
for trusting in the Lord.
For all the times you prayed for me
you deserve His best reward.
I know each day you said a prayer
for family and each friend.
And I know that you were faithful
and prayed until the end.

I know you’re up in heaven now,
your face I cannot see.
But all those precious memories
will always stay with me.
I knew someday you’d leave this earth
and live with God above.
But I will keep you in my heart
and think of you with love.

There are times when only a Mother's love Can understand our tears, Can soothe our disappointments And calm all of our fears. There are times when only a Mother's love Can share the joy we feel When something we have dreamed about Quite suddenly is real. There are times when only a Mother's faith Can help us on life's way And inspire in us the confidence We need from day to day. For a Mother's heart and a Mother's faith And a Mother's steadfast love Were fashioned by the Angels And sent from God above...
